Review:
A Smidgen of Sky is a wonderful story many children will be able to relate to. It is hard when a family changes and children have new moms and dads in their lives, and possibly new brothers and sisters. Piper Lee is a great character that children will be able to understand, but they will see, more importantly, how she will reach out to children and give them hope about new beginnings once she looks past her own wants and demands, and sees the greater picture.
The author creates a delightfully relateable story in this 208 page middle grade novel.
