    Author:

Kent Kaiser, avid outdoorsman, internationally successful tour guide, and author of the compelling new autobiography, "Hard Way Back: One Man's True Story of Rejoicing through Adversity," evidenced his true calling at birth -- by sharing a birthdate with Daniel Boone.
Born in Niles, Michigan, Kent grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska, and displayed from his youth a superlative aptitude and unbridled passion for outdoor life, including fishing, hunting, hiking, and photography.
Through his businesses, Alaskan Quest and New Zealand Quest, he has fulfilled hundreds of clients' lifelong dreams through his custom-made wilderness excursions, from fishing trips to hunting adventures to sightseeing tours.
An outgoing and pleasurable person with an endearing sense of humor which is never far from the surface, Kent enjoys life "both on and off the field." He carries his honest and sincere zeal whenever -- and wherever -- he enjoys his favorite pastimes:
--taking his longtime four-legged best friend, Chena, on walks, swims, and hikes
--traveling the world and exploring new locations (though his favorite places remain Alaska, New Zealand, Hawaii, and Florida)
--quietly strolling the beach to commune with his Savior, Jesus Christ
--working out and lifting weights, as he has done regularly for over 25 years
--trying new restaurants (his menu favorites: prime rib and Alaskan king crab)
    --hiking, rafting, and deep-sea fishing
    --photographing wildlife, particularly bears
--and, in one of his few indoor preferences, watching movies

    Review:
Hard Way Back is a true story about how lifes twist and turns can change someone. Author and outdoor enthusiast, Kent Kaiser, has been through a terrible ordeal dealing with Alaska and New Zealand's government. Most people would let the trumped up charges against them go unfought and they would settle for whatever fate had in store for them--but not Kent. He fights a battle of immense proportions. With a U.S. Special Agent determined to put him in jail and follows him around the world to do it, he fights tooth and nail to prove his innocence and to unveil the corruptness that can happen in governments. Most people will find what happened to Kent a travesty.

One thing on his adventures leads to another and with it a tornado of trouble. He takes the reader on a three year journey of all the events that he had gone through that led up to him being imprisoned and facing tons of money in possible fines. Kent perservered and with the help of God on his side, fought a battle that would change his life forever.

Readers are going to enjoy this 270 page autobiography. The added photos and letters help the reader understand Kent's frustrations when dealing with the government. Any reader who loves the outdoors and hunts will definetly love this true story.

In the words of Winston Churchill, in which the author is so very fond.

"The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is."

The author plants the seed for dreams of fantastic possibilities.”

I Wish I Had . . . is a thoughtfully told story pointing out the unique features of certain animals that separate each from the rest, making them special.

The author has chosen to emphasize the animal’s strengths: the keenness of a blackbird’s eyes; the feather light steps of a tiger; the nimble tail of a lemur that helps it swing from branch to branch.
Each animal mentioned correlates to some part of the body. If the reader took on all the attributes, the result would be amazing indeed. The artwork by Simona Mulazzani is colorful and bright, drawing in the reader to its eclectic beauty.
This is a simple, easily read, 26-page illustrated picture book. Children ages 4–8 will wonder what it would be like to have each animal’s unique gift, making their imaginations soar with the many possibilities.
